Hi ,

I have a 1700+DLT3C - JIUHB0310WPMW and it's currently @ 12.5 x 208 = 2600 MHz @ vCore 1.75 v @ vDimm 2.7 v

I think it could go further but everytime i try my keyboard freezes in the BIOS.

My RAM (2 X 256 Corsair 3200 ) is @ 3 , 4 , 4 , 9 .

temps are @ 42º idle 4º8 load.

Is there anything else i can tweak to mabye get it past 2600 MHz .

I know i should be VERY happy with 2600 but its more fun to take it to the untimate limit.(Its my backup rig anyway)

Holy $#!t! That is one nice OC. Nice job. What kind of cooling\mobo you have on that thing?

Thanks :0 I use EPoX 8RDA+ mobo and a Thermalright SLK-900U with Thermaltake V9 Smartfan.

I cant get the monitor to turn on after 12.5 x 208 it says no signal ?

Any ideas

It wont stay @ 2600 it keeps freezing my keyboard thats what i was asking in the first place does anyone know what it is exactly thats overheating or needs vVvz ?

Im getting a H2O Cooler next month so i'll prolly wait till that comes because it stable.

If it does 2505MHz EASY with a heatsink and fan it should be at least STABLE @ 2600MHz on H2O yeah ?

So basically you're telling us that the 2600 overclock isn't valid because it is far from stable? Hmm...not as impressive anymore. Mind you, the 2.5 Is though. So at 1.75V at 2.505 Ghz it is perfectly stable?

not necessarily but possibly...

just be sure to test for stability... it would suck to have your comp crash while working on a project or playing a game or something of that sort...

48-50C? Geez, that's not really that bad, those are my bootup temps (granted it's a P4) and those aren't half bad. Though I have an abit board and apparently those read a little high.

So far its been perfect @ this setting but the fans a bit loud:frown:

Did u do a mod to increase the voltage to the Northbridge, or add any cooling to it? What bios are you using? All the higher I can get My DLTC3 Athlon XP 1700+ to go is 2.25GHz 12.5x180, on the Epox 8RDA+ with a single 512 stick on corsair xms pc3200 memory.

Download WCPUID. With it open press alt-printscreen then go into paint or another program and paste the screenshot of it, then save as jpg or gif and then either host it or email me at willd@carolina.rr.com and I will host it for you.

No i didnt do and VDD mods , I lapped the stock HS on the 8RDA+ to a VERY VERY GOOD mirror finish( Im telling u this creme polisher i have has like tiny grains of sand or metal and after you lap the HS you polish with this and you can brush your teeth with the HS after that ;) )

►CPU HS = Thermalright SLK-900U with Thermaltake V9 Smartfan.
►NorthBridge HS = Lapped stock 8RDA+ HS with coolermaster fan ontop.
►SouthBridge = Thermaltake Blue Orb.
►AGP = Thermaltake Silver Orb.
►12.5 x 200 = 2505 Mhz @ vCore 1.75 v @ vDimm 2.7 v - 2.5 , 3 , 3 , 8 2 x 256Mb 3200 XMS .
►Temps = 42º Idle & about 47º/48º Load.

;)

Thats amazing..... I am a newbie to this stuff, but i have been in the scence for a little while now, and I know enough thats pretty good to get 2.5 outta this cpu. I have the same model CPU, and I am trying to start O/Cing.... Does the Epox board work well for you?
(can you please tell me the name of that cream polisher you used :) )

AWSOME WORK
