1700+@2.3ghz (11.5*200) versus stock 3000+

Well this is hard. The two will perform on different levels. Differences:

- Stock 3000+ has twice the cache that your proc has
- Stock 3000+ has a slower FSB than your proc
- If there was a 3000+ with a T-Bred core instead of a Barton core, it would have a higher clock than yours (2324 vs. 2300)

Given your higher clock and the fact that the 3000+ was actually more like a 2900+ or a 2950+ in benches, I'd say that your proc wins. Especially when your higher FSB is taken into consideration. However, I'd assume that in a few instances, the higher cache would put the 3000+ ahead.

Oh yeah I know...im just comparing a $70 proc with one that is $400...
