The 1988 Seoul Olympics lasted for 17 days. The time difference between
Seoul and Los Angeles (site of the 1984 Olympics) is 17 hours. On
9/28/88 (92888 = 17 * 5464), the United States had a total of 51 (17*3)
medals: 17 Gold, 17 Silver, 17 Bronze. On his voyage in 1493 (1+4+9+3 =
17) Columbus and his two brothers brought 17 shiploads of settlers to
Hispaniola.

There are 17 sentences in the 17th paragraph of the 17th chapter of War
and Peace by Tolstoy. In 1862 (1 + 8 + 6 + 2 = 17), at the age of 34
(34
= 17 * 2), Tolstoy married a woman 17 years of age.

17 million immigrants came through Ellis Island from the time it opened
until the end of World War II. The main building on Ellis Island opened
on December 17, 1900. Only 17 tiles in the vaulted ceiling had to be
replaced since its opening.

And... the two great universities in Cambridge are Harvard University
(17 letters) and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (34 = 17*2

Unfortanetly, you failed to use a factor of 17 words or characters in your post. Therefore you fail 17 101, and will have to retake it before you can graduate.

x/100 = 1/26

100=26x

100/26 = x

x= 3.84
yes but q isn't used as commonly as other letters. e for example appears much more than 3.84%. I'm assuming that's what he meant anyway.

EDIT: 1900 posts. yay .. time to get off the computer.

I hate to make you feel like a moron, but count the number of times "q" is used in this thread and try to tell me it's the same number as "e" or "t".
