It's nothing of the sort - the main architect of the 2003 invasion set the country's worst foreign policy disaster into motion, and the body count is still rising. You know damn well Iraq 2.0 wouldn't have happened were it not for Cheney doing everything within his power to get us in there, but just like with the actual criticism of him receiving a heart it's something you prefer not to think about.

Wrong, wrong, wrong again possum. Oy vey. If you care to read my post more closely, you should notice not only did I leave good and evil out of it I offered no excuses or defenses of anyone related to the story. In fact, I refereed to both "men" as wastes of organ donations. I'm not sure how you've managed to rationalize that into some kind of defense of the failed carjacker, but sure, go ahead and grab onto that and avoid addressing what you were specifically asked to substantiate.

Pretty funny to hear one of our resident Cheney fanboys accuse someone else of excusing criminal behavior in lieu of politics! Wow. It's not often irony of that magnitude shows up on a Monday. I suppose its that 'personally defined light' of mine regarding Cheney that made him shoot a guy in the face with a shotgun, or is why the man won't venture beyond our borders now?

In your world, people only hate Dick because he's a conservative. His record has nothing to do it, right? :hmm:
Again, your view of "worst foreign policy disaster" is driven by your politics. You despised the man well before that, because of your politics.

You mean the picture of Joda Cain that people were falsely claiming was a picture of Mike Brown?

That picture? And you claim not to know that it's a lie?
I didn't even know it existed. Guess I bailed from that thread too quick.

Brown really was accepted into community college, correct?

I found this back and forth interesting because sometimes I get into similar arguments. So I took the time to read back a few replies and see if I could pinpoint the root of the argument.

I think where you failed Kage is here (introduce politics):

This is clearly viewed as a statement of opinion. It now gives the appearance that all your statements revolve around a biased point of view. True, CZroe cannot know what you're thinking, but he is simply reacting based on what you post (what else is he supposed to do??). Which you then followed up with (after being called out, bolded points are of interest, more politics & opinion as called by some):

If you don't want people "assuming" what you think, then quit posting things that make them come to that "assumption". By the way, I have no opinion one way or the other, just trying to show a different point of view :).
Exactly, and well said.

Apparently he was 2 days away from his 1st class when he was shot.

As for the picture, it was simply an attempt to demonize Brown through an outright lie.

...and that pic wasn't even necessary because the surveillance video did a pretty good job "demonizing" him.

Was Brown in that C-store video image, trying to strong armed a smaller store owner when that store owner tried to stop Brown from stealing stuffs? Yes or No?

Oh, speaking of outright lie(s), you mean "Hands up, don't shoot" that we've been told so many times, right? :D Or the "gentle giant"? Or Brown was shot from the back while pleading for his life/giving up? Shall I go on? LOL.

You seem to be confused/lost.

I think this is the thread you want:

Am I? Or were that you? Because who said Mike Brown several times in this thread?

Keep digging deeper, eh? :D

Hey, you wish to discuss Brown, the other thread is the one to do so in. All I did was point out a lie and provided evidence of such.

It's time for you to move on, find a life for yourself. Or, go back to the other thread and spend the rest of your life discussing Brown.

Your choice.

See my very first post in this thread, did I say anything about Brown? Nope, Nada.

You made not one but TWO statements about Brown in this thread alone, I called you out about "lie", you could not dispute my call out. So sad. Can dish it out but can't take it, eh? :)

One last time because apparently you are tremendously stupid.

Poster makes a false statement regarding an alleged picture of Brown. I point out that what they presented was untrue and provide proof of such. Anything else is in your own head.

You wish to rant and rave about Brown, feel free, start a new thread or use the old ones. Stop trying to hijack this thread. It's not about Brown.

Once more, in case you're still having problems finding it:

Can't debate with facts, attack the opposition with name calling, eh? Typical. :D

Again, did you or I mention Brown first in this thread? Me or you? Did I say anything about Brown in my post(s) in this thread before your mention of Brown? Yes or No? And I do not care the reason why you did. And now you have the nerve to say that I was hijacked this thread? Are you freaking for real? WTF x 10000000000000000!!!!!@

You were saying something about stupid?

Seems the issue here is that you're pretending to debate something when all you wish to do is stir up some shit.

Well, you can stir it up all on your own. Your game has one player, you.

Have a nice day.

Again, your view of "worst foreign policy disaster" is driven by your politics.

That kind of weak sauce should be below you possum... but it's not. Probably the worst cop out I've seen of you yet. Grats.

For the sake of argument, let's ignore the entire issue of Iraq just for a moment and come back to why it is you don't want to provide something to support your conservative persecution complex? Do I need to quote your post again for you? Or are you just going to continue your little dance there?

You despised the man well before that, because of your politics.

I'm sure your remote mind-reading skills tell you otherwise, but it's Cheney's actions that I've taken issue with. I despise him for what he's done, what he set in motion. His personal faults as a human being, as well as the results of his time in office (which I believe are related to a degree) regarding foreign policy is what is important to me. If there wasn't >$3 trillion gone and thousands of Americans lives lost needlessly, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

Yeah, it's too bad those panties got a little wadded up when I used your qualifications of criminal behavior and shooting at people as the basis of some humorous comparison between the two men, but hey, these things happen.

Coming back to Iraq 2.0, it being the worst foreign policy clusterfuck isn't my opinion - that's a fact jack! You've gone full retard if you think that the immense (and still growing) cost in blood and money has any real parallel in American foreign policy blunders. But then you love Cheney, he's awesome, you loved Cheney well before 2003 so you avert your eyes because of your politics. The only real analog that even comes close to 2000-2008 on the fucked-up foreign meter were the Johnson years, and you should know what with being an old coot an all. I'm not offering personal opinion when I say Iraq 2.0 is the worst, most costly self-inflicted wound in foreign policy to date, and Cheney's role isn't really in debate, that's just kind of the way it is. I'd hand you a couple links that spell it out quite well if I thought you'd bother clicking them. Sorry, my politics don't enter into it, you're just being lazy while abandoning a stupid comment. Maybe we need a new thread about Iraq? Or is it, we need a thread about the disaster that somehow eclipsed Cheney's Grand Adventure?
