It's nothing of the sort - the main architect of the 2003 invasion set the country's worst foreign policy disaster into motion, and the body count is still rising. You know damn well Iraq 2.0 wouldn't have happened were it not for Cheney doing everything within his power to get us in there, but just like with the actual criticism of him receiving a heart it's something you prefer not to think about.

The only real analog that even comes close to 2000-2008 on the fucked-up foreign meter were the Johnson years, and you should know what with being an old coot an all. I'm not offering personal opinion when I say Iraq 2.0 is the worst, most costly self-inflicted wound in foreign policy to date, and Cheney's role isn't really in debate, that's just kind of the way it is.
