17" Monitor?

My parents are going to give me a new monitor for X-mas. I'm thinking either a Viewsonic EF70 or Samsung 700NF. Anyone have comments on these or another suggestion? Looking in the $425 Cdn range (~$275 US)...use mainly for internet and games (NHL 2000, RRTycoon2, The Sims, etc).

My vote is for the Samsung 700NF. It offers a higher max resolution and better refresh rates. It costs more but I think that money is well spent.
 
Well I have a Viewsonic EF70 and I'm happy with it so far. Of course I've only had it for a few days now. Got a good review in PC World if that helps.
