17" monitor recommendation please

I need a recommendation for a good 17" crt monitor. The price has to be reasonable but I don't want any budget or "value" monitor. I will be using it for a good amount of the day (internet/typing) so it has to be flicker free, and have good image quality. Also, I will be using it for 3-D gaming so the image quality and resoultion come into play here. Let me know of anything good.

I love quality.

I realise that Sony monitors might not exactly fit into your requirements, but I use the argument that you are looking at your monitor the whole time youre using your PC, so get a nice one! 🙂
