17" Monitor decision. Must decide tonight.

Gave my dad my Samsung 700nf monitor this past weekend. I loved this monitor and hated to see it go. I now need a 17" and can't decide between getting a new 700nf or the Sony CPD-220G.

Anyone have any suggestions or comments. I'm pulling towards the Sony since I can get it for the same price as the Samsung.
 
-Vespasian- Do you work for IBM or something? I swear, everytime their is a monitor thread, you suggest some model of IBM monitor. Or, do you just like IBM monitors that much?

<<edit>> Well, I thought that I better actually answer your question. I would personally pick the Samsung over the Sony. You also might wanna look at Iiyama monitors. They are very nice.

No, but IBM does manufacture the best CRT monitors (and arguably the best LCD displays, too).
