17" Monitor choice

Would I be able to get away with a 25ms response time with a DVI monitor? I'd heard that the DVI is superior over Analog in that respect or should I go for the monitor with a lower response time? I do some gaming occasionally.

A 25 ms monitor will ghost or at least look bad in fps games, even on DVI.

I have a 17" DVI monitor with 25ms response time and I don't notice ghosting and FPS games look great. Albatron L17ASD

Got my LG Flatron L1710B today.

17", 16ms and DVI. Havent noticed ghosting but Ive only played Mechwarrior 3 and Silver.

I dont regularly play FPSes but Id rather have no/little ghosting when i do.
