They're shipping prices are rediculous. Shipping on the 17" monitor is $35. Shipping on the HP leather notebook case is $34.

Seems they make up for the super low price by increasing shipping costs.

Ummm. $35 is a *little* high, but monitors aren't exactly light. Have you even actually shipped one yourself and seen how much UPS charges?

The point is that shipping on everything is expensive.

I won't deal with a company that images their prices as low but then makes up for the low price in shipping costs.

The site says the monitor is 45 lbs (well it says weight 45. I assume lbs.)

Altogether, (s/h and price) 55 bucks doesn't seem too bad on a 17 incher. For a backup/secondary sys, might be ideal...I used a 14" monitor with incredibly bad color/brightness until a friend GAVE me a nice 17" monitor about a year ago.

What may be more ideal is if the company offers a counter for customers in the CA area. You'd really find out if the company's in it for the heightened shipping prices. Couldn't make a visit myself here in Alabama.
