I'm about to take the leap into LCD, from my current 19" Samsung SyncMaster 955DF. I'm also thinking about going dual-display. My vid card is a GeForce fx 5900, which supports DVI.
The Eizo L568 looks to be a superb monitor, but they sure don't give them away. The Dell seems nearly as good, according to PC World, at a bit more than half the price. I'll need a new desk to go dual-display, but I'm not factoring that into the cost right now. I'm not a big gamer (I get sick when I play FPS games) so I'm willing to sacrifice response time for the higher contrast ratio.
So, is the Eizo worth the extra cash? Should I get one now and save up for a second one, or go for two Dells right off the top?
Thanks for opinions and suggestions.
