anyone have the rebate link. Went to staples and it doesn't state any 80 dollar rebate to make it 299.00.

Not necessarily. I posted a post about a "Wholesale hot" TFT at Costco, 25ms for 330 no rebates. Fry's have a Hyundai ImageQuest L70S for $300 AR. I remember a Sony 18" over at Dell that could be had for $330 after some coupon madness. There are deals out there, you just have to look really hard.

Picked one up, looks pretty good. 1280x1024 native. I looked around, and I *think* this LCD has a 16ms refresh time. Built in speakers, too. No DVI though :(

Mine should arrive Friday. I'll let you know what I think once it gets here (I'll play a bit of America's Army...). Hopefully it doesn't suck because the closest Staples to do a return is 2 hours away...

Mine arrived today. Only been using it for 15 minutes or so but so far it looks really nice. Maybe I'm easy to please, but I don't really notice any ghosting or trails. I played a round of America's Army and it looked great.

So, I'm happy that it looks like I won't need to drive the two hours each way to return it to Staples.

PS. I also used the free luggage coupon. The "luggage" isn't really anything more than a black gym bag... But it was free...

PPS. The one downside to getting an LCD is that I can tell I'll want to replace the second CRT monitor on my dual display set up...

Same here, dude. Although I'd like to get one that has DVI. I'm hoping that a really killer deal will strike on Black Friday.

What a week for good LCD deals! :)
