The first of our next-generation LCD monitors to offer a blazing 12ms response time, the BenQ FP767-12 was developed with the most demanding users in mind. With a 500:1 Ultra-High contrast ratio and a maximum resolution of 1280x1024, the FP767-12 delivers incredible clarity and lifelike color reproduction under the most demanding applications.

For those of you who get CRN, they had a good (short) review in last issue, it got the top ranking.

It does 83 images per second. In comparision a TV is about 33ms vs 12ms and does 30 images second. At 15ms or better, streaking is not a issue for LCD's.

Company I work for sells these, I know I see many post looking for the best 17", here's one for now that is almost impossible to beat at the 17" size, it would be on my desk if I used that small of a LCD.

Is there any reason why the faster screens always appear on smaller 17" and 15" lcds first?

I would imagine that like, hard drives, memory, and everything else, that the LCD technology is easier to get working on a smaller scale. I can't explain why, and it really makes no sense to me... You would think that if they could make 40 sq inch piece of tft that could work at 16ms, then they could make a 300 sq inch piece of tft that could do it too...
