Although I think the highest speed for SCSI right now is 10X. But why would you want that? I have a 6X SCSI Pioneer DVD ROM and it reads CDs at 32X. It's the same for 10X DVD ROMS as well, maybe the access time is lower.
IMO there's no difference between 10X SCSI and 6X SCSI.
Well i looked on the Pioneer website, and it said the fastest SCSI DVD drive it had is 6x, while it had 6x, 10x, and 16x in IDE flavors. Are you sure Pioneer makes a 10x SCSI?
there's Pioneer 10x SCSI but it's danm hard to find. Those 16X will be awesome for DVD's ripping other than that I don't see any use for it at this time.
