16mb voodoo 3 3500 tv/agp 16mb vs. 32mb Diamond stealth s540 III extreme

i have a 16 mb voodoo 3 3500 tv/agp and a 32mb Diamond stealth III s540 extreme. i cant afford to get any newer high speed video card. right now i am running the Diamond on my system. i have a 750 athlon (slot A) on a gigabyte GA-7IXE mother board. i will be getting a new monitor KDS 17 av-7tf
tomorrow (if it arrives) it has a .24dpi. well anyhow i would like an opinion on this setup and or anything i can do to improve it (besides dropping more $$$ on new stuff and i know someone is going to sugest that anyhow) thanks

I have a friend with the S540. That thing is one buggy video card. Do yourself a favor and use the Voodoo 3.

You may actually find the V3 is still a pretty good card overall.

I haven't tried the S3 board but I can say the Voodoo 3 works beautifully.

i thought the voodoo would be better. plus they dont make the tv/agp anymore. if anybody wants one i can still get them. The Px on fort bragg nc still has them in stock (i dont think they can get rid of them since there is newer stuff out) they are still a little expensive though (i think $175) i bought mine off another soldier who pawned his computer but before he did he removed the voodoo and replaced the stock video card. ( i got it for $10 cause he had no use for it anymore)
