I've drank far more than that, and will do so in the future. In fact, the very near future, probably starting tomorrow.
 
I went on a 21-day bender once. Did better at work during the day (was sober then, just drank myself to sleep at night, never get hung-over) than I've ever done but scared the crap out of a lot of friends so I stopped.

Bottom line, not the best solution, to put it mildly.

Recommendation: Stop.
