1680x1050 settings

I'm using latest Nvidia drivers & latest DX9.0c. I have an Acer 22" widescreen panel using a KVM switch & 4 PC's. 2 of the systems hold the 1680x1050 settings no problem. The other 2 boxes drop back to 1600x1024 whenever they're rebooted. The option for 1680x1050 even disappears as an option. If I reinstall the drivers, I get the option back & the setting takes again. On the next boot, it's gone again.

Any ideas? Thanks.
