1680x1050 compatibilty?

I'm looking at Dell's new 20.1 inch wide aspect LCD. On

page, Dell is quick to point out
To optimize this monitor's performance, your system must be able to support WSXGA+ resolution (1680 x 1050).

So how do I tell if my system supports that resolution?
I am using a radeon 9700 pro on windows XP. I know I can do 1600x1200 but I don't see the wide screen options.

the widescreen options will show up when you plug in the 2005FPw

and btw, its SWXGA+
