Amazon.com has the card for $167.99 with free shipping. Doesn't say if it comes with Half Life 2 coupon, although the Connect3D website states that it should. Connect3D

According to the package, it does come with Half-Life 2. Seems to be an okay deal. Newegg has it for $169.00 with Free Shipping.

Since I'm in the market for a new video card, anyone know if Connect3D's any good?

The price on Amazon has dropped to $155.34. Connect3D is a European cardmaker that just launched into the US market.
This card apparently performs as it is supposed to, but is not designed to be overclocked, hence the price.
Here's a link to a Review.

It seems to me that those aren't actually being sold by Amazon, but by Amazon merchants, which is sort of like eBay...

Compusa this Sunday will have a 9600XT for $149 after rebate, and if you use the 10% off coupon it will be even less......

Amazon apparently sold out within a few hours of the $155.34 post. All you would see after are the Amazon merchants.

Just FYI: The 9600XT going on sale at CompUSA this Sunday is a VisionTek Xtasy board. It will have a $30 MIR and a $20 IR to bring the final price to $149. At the moment there's also penny shipping, but I wonder if they'll yank that as of Sunday.

According to a September press release on the Visiontek website, this board supposedly includes the HalfLife 2 coupon. However, there is no mention of the game at the current CompUSA link, and we can only guess when that game will be ready to ship. I'm not holding my breath. However, I do need a new video card right now, so the timing is good for me.

This thread from FW mentions that a new 10% coupon will be coming out to coincide with this Sunday's CompUSA sale flyer. The thread also includes links to scans of the ad pages.

Yes I believe both cards may be better overclockers. I don't live in the US so I can't buy form Newegg and many other e-tailers. So I'm stuck with Amazon and the handful of others that sell to non-US customers.
