Wait I still dont get it. You literally can't fit inside the truck if another human being is in it? What do you do for a living? Most 30k a year jobs require some kind of physical exertion, if you're that big...

But since you already have it, you'd better make sure you do all the driving when you're together. I'm 6'5" and can relate to having to cram yourself into small cars.
Yeah, how come you bought the truck without a test drive?

You joined in 2000 and have almost 7000 (that's 3 zeros) posts. Yet you expected helpful non-sarcastic posts from OT.

Methinks there's a short somewhere.

One thing too. Am i crazy of should a sales man should have picked this small detail up. I leared some sales trainning a long time ago. Part of it was to qualify the customer. This was if there AC did not fit in the window we did not have to take it back ect..

Do sales people practice this anymore? Im not trying to pass the buck. Im just wondering.

i think most people assume buyers are aware whether their they can physically get into a vehicle or not. Besides, what do you expect the sales guy to say? "hey fatty, you sure you can squeeze into that truck if you're riding shotty?"

god, are people just f'ing stupid tonite?

the guy may or may not have test drove it, it doesn't matter - its his truck, he drives it 99% of the time, and it fits him just fine.
when his fiancee drives it, it is a bench seat, so u can only move the seat forward as a whole. being 5'1, she has to sit very close, which means the passenger must also sit very close. since he's 6'3, his legs won't fit in front of the dash, let alone an airbag go off!

Should've bought American.
Best thing you can do is put it up on Craigslist and hope that you'll get most of your money back. That dealer aint gonna take it back for sure.

Hey everybody gets flamed to some degree. Especially if they do something incredibly stupid. Looks like it's your turn. Hell you might even deserve two turns for this one, though.

Don't worry, you'll be forgotten in a week. :)

Nah, I was more referring to the bit where you said you didn't test drive it or anything.

Impulse buying is usually a bad thing, but when it comes to high priced items like VEHICLES, it's always a bad thing.

Go to a junkyard and see if they have any seats that might fit your truck. Seriously it might save you some money.
