Picked up a couple in Cincinnati at the FE store at $45.95 on separate receipts.

Shelf tag did display that price but no rebate printed out. Will just get the rebate from the website or just do the online submission.

Believe there was one left as of about 5PM. The employee that rang me up said that he may take one as well (he didn't even know about the rebate).

OP definitely got lucky. I doubt any of these drives will scan at $49.99. Not worth a drive to CC to find out first hand.

On the shelf here in Rocky Mount, North Carolina for $46.95, but with no rebate from the store.

I picked one up, and am currently sending in rebate form that was provided in the thread.

Thanks for the heads up on the deal!

Hope the rebates go through, but even if they don't a $50 160GB SATA hard drive is still a good deal. All I did was ask why it didn't print the rebate form and got the price adjustment. Can't hurt to inquire about it before you leave. :)

**also, these drives come with cool SATA cables that allow you to run the data and power off of the SATA port. I have no idea how that works, but it looks cool!**

 :)

$89.99 less rebate in Cambridge. I obviously passed. Do you think they would price match a California Circuit Cities' prices?

The person in Naperville just went to the website and printed the rebate form. So it was %2 out the door with a $40 MIR. Even without the rebates, this is a good price on a SATAII drive. Only 1 year warranty, so the rebate allows it to be "Hot".

Got 1 for $11 in CA including Taxes. The rebate form wouldn't print so the girl just adjusted the price manually down to $7.95.

Not sure how all of you are getting these deals as this is advertised in their circular for $89 - rebate. Are all CC's running different sales?

Just bought two at my local CC.

The sales reps wouldn't give me the rebate direct, but I'm going to mail them in (two different addys).

Thanks, OP

no go in circuit city in somerville, ma... shelf price was $89.99... comes out to $49.99 after the $40 MIR, which is still decent for 160GB but not quite $7 out the door :)

I went to pick up my drive at the store and they had another one sitting there. I grabbed that one too but that girl was being stubborn about it. She said that corporate made a mistake but she eventually ended up giving it to me. Only thing is I have to send in the rebate for this one.

Even if I don't get the rebate $62 for two 160gb SATA II isn't that bad. But, If I do get the rebate, $22 for both would make my day!

I sorta gave up chasing these deals but thought I would give it a chance while running errands today.Success. Got one at 1st store $46.95 (last one) then went down the raod to the next store ,price $69.95. Might go back tomorrow and get it still. $29 AR is still pretty good.

Thought about showing reciept but couldn't get up the nerve.

Wonder what response I would have got? I see ppl posting copies of reciepts but what can be done with that info at the store?

Oh , Thanks OP
