What does that mean? B/c the Venice and such forth have come out since Im sure.
But I am in a trade situation for my fx51 940.

Why in the world would one buy a newcastle core, when venice is significantly better.. Multiple DIMM @ DDR 400, SSE 3 etc..

Unless you are looking 754, don't buy a newcastle core..

Just as most have mentioned in this thread, you're better off not getting the Newcastle cored 3500+,

If possible, instead get the Venice cored 3200+ (for OCing), or the Venice cored 3500+,

Eventhough I currently have the Newcastle cored 3500+ installed on an ASUS A8N-SLI mobo that reached 2585MHz on air.

I would get every other core before the NewCastle.
Even the Clawhammer.
