anyone read this comic yet?
i searched and found nothing on it.

im not big into marvel (or gaimen) but it looked pretty cool and surprising accessible (i have very limited knowledge of the marvel universe).
any huge marvel fans give me some insights into the first issue?
i feel like i IDed all the characters...but im sure i missed some of the more subtle conversions.

Entertainment Weekly's reviewer liked it. Mutants and the inquisition might be interesting if not done too ham-handedly, though the idea is fairly similar to the existing McCarthyism and Holocaust stories that have already been done and re-done.

A safer bet: Judith Tarr did a very good fantasy trilogy about the persecution of the sidhe (elves) by the church, "The Hound and the Falcon" which Amazon has as a single-volume trade paperback.

EW goes back in forth on how much i like what they rate. in comics especially, since it has been only a recent addition, they tend to dig anything that has a lot of hype behind it. this title has HUGE hype but...i have yet to talk to anyone who has read it (other than myself)
