1600x1200 resolutions not an option in games???

Hi Guys,

I have no idea how this could have happened but it used to be fine with my x800xl. Any idea why there isn't even an option for any resolution above 1280x1024 on my Dell 2001FP?

It happens in Quake 4, UT2004, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, and the Chronicles of Riddick. I have options running all the way up to 1280x1024 and nothing beyond that... WTF?!

How would I even diagnose this problem???

Sorry guys I think I posted too hastily... I had my TV plugged in as a secondary monitor but it wasn't on, so I turned it off and now my resolutions are available to me. What a DOLT I am!

You're not a Dolt. You learned something new. Wouldn't it be funny if someone else had the same issues (1 in a 1,000 chance, I know) and YOU were able to help him!?! A Dolt can't learn new things. You can!
