I have an SGI 1600SW with a multilink hooked up to my RadeonLE. For the longest time, I could only get Counterstrike to work correctly. When I installed games like Warcraft III, Stronghold, etc it would load the game and play sound, but no video, just a blank screen. The multilink light was green and the light on the screen was green, just no picture. I could ALT + F4 out of the game and back to the desktop just fine. I have finally figured out what the problem was and want to post it in case others have the same problem.
In the multilink, you can set the screen for "WIDE" or "STANDARD." I just assumed it should be WIDE, so I left it there. Actually, it should be on STANDARD. It doesn't affect your desktop in Windows, though. This will allow you to play those games on your 1600SW that you couldn't do before.
Hope this helps someone in the future.
