16 Pipe x800's going mobile

It's translated, but the gist is clear. On the belated heels of the 6800 Go Ultra launch (which only seems to manifest itself in Dells atm), ATi offers up this. Major differences between the 2?

6800 Go = 12 pipes
x800 = 16 pipes

6800 Go = 5 VU
x800 = 6 VU

looks like at the current time ATI is the way to go for moble gaming.

It whould not shock me if moble SLI will be next thing to pop up.

Yeah, i'd love having a 5 second battery life.

DTR's have never been known for their battery life, and if you're buying a laptop with a 6800/x800 in it, you're sure as heck not buying it because of it's battery life, although I'm sure it would make a most excellent heater.

I'm clinging to my dothan laptop. It's currently running at 500 Mhz and will yield me 4 hours of battery life 🙂
