16 bit programs in WinXP SP2

I have a program that did work in WinXP, but after SP2 was installed, it now fails to run. I believe it has to do with it being a 16bit program. I get an error about not being able to run in NT. I was told there is a patch to get 16 bit programs to run on XP SP2 but I could not find anything on MS site.
