16 bit color looks awful on GeForce 2 (especially in Thief 2)... Help!

Like the topic says. I don't know what I did to mess it up. It's really bad in Thief 2, I can hardly stand to play it. 16 bit looks like 256 colors! Yuck. Any ideas what I may have done in reg, or elsewhere?

It maybe that the contrast/brightness/gamma correction is set too high up. Another thing is that the Monitor's brightness or contrast settings are way to high.

Try lowering them, and I think it should be normal again.
