if your spooler is borked, there is a fun MS knowledge base article that splains how to unbork your printer spooler. good luck with that
 
couldn't reboot. I was printing an invoice from USPS and they had already charged me for the shipment.

I turned off my printer, cancelled all the jobs when the error popped up, then restarted it and everything was ok.
