... I went to high school. I know what torque is. So should everyone else with a diploma; or is basic physics no longer required?

Not everybody is as knowledgeable, or obsessed, about cars as you are.

I lost interest in cars, other than they get me from point A to point B, a long time ago. I have other interests now.

I do know what "torque" is, though. After 25 years as a mechanic I know way more than I need about cars, trucks and heavy equipment.

I don't know exactly what torque it, though I have a basic idea.

I guess they should strip my CPA license from me, eh?

Howbout you just tell them what torque is?

Everyone's a beginner at some point. You can be a dick about it, or you can help an idiot learn something.

I drive a Saturn. What is this torque of which you speak? :)

Replace it with another Bonneville, an SSEi preferably.

My Bonnie had the 3.8, which was only good for 150 hp, but it had a fair amount of torque. That car would move if I pressed her.

Yeah, mine has the Series I 3.8 as well (170HP was the figure I saw for my old '92 SE), but I've got the supercharged version of it. 225HP.
