Yep, it's just me out here. I think everybody else is busy this weekend, so it's been real quiet and I've been catching up on a backlog of minor electrical repairs on the movie lights and distribution boxes and making cables and adapters. It's the most exercise my soldering iron has had in a while.

this is the first time in my life i havent spent easter going to church and dining with my family...

and i have to say, dunkin donuts are better than whatever my mom used to make for breakfast. and waking up late at the beach instead of waking up early to make it to church is a fantastic thing.
 
I'm the only person my company scheduled to work for today...at normal pay. Ah well, hopefully I'll hear back from this new place...more money better location, better hours.

i'm alone everyday but i like it.
i have adult swim right now... always entertaining on sunday night!
 
Parents came out and visited me for the weekend, just dropped them off at the hotel (they're spending the night there so that they don't have to wake up when I do at 3 am tomorrow). While it was very nice, it also very much drove home the fact that they're 2,500+ miles away. In a way, it's rather like giving Tantalus a drink, or a bit of fruit. The instant is magnificent, but looking back it only serves to make the rest of the time more difficult by reminding him of what he does not have.
