Ok let me keep this simple... and i did not see any exact posts on this topic.
I heard this on the radio and i thought it was only for California. But it looks like it is for everyone.

Breakdown
$50 MIR for Activation (Web Exclusive)
$75 MIR for Activation (per new line of service)
$30 MIR For Some Phones (Nokia, R280LX Ericsson, Motorola V2397)

All these mail in rebates come to $155 plus they are shipping phones for free too.

If you have questions go to the site or give them a call.

I think you can make some money off this deal, but I am not sure. If you read the fine print it says you have to have service for 30 days in order to get the rebate. So, I think you could get a phone activated with the 29.99 a month service, then cancel after you send your rebates in. That way you would have: $50 MIR + $75 MIR - (Cost of Activiation) - $29.99 for a month of service... Just a thought

well lets see they sell you a 8260 for $199.

hmm

or buy.com (use coupon) and its 99(without coupon).

hmmmm

if you were to use $20 off buy.com, you get phone, free shipping, $25 activation fee(on first bill) for a $80 out of pocket expense.

Or

Pay $199 + shipping and get $155 on rebates after who knows when.

If it wasn't the xmas season, i might go with the rebates.

Anyone know of any better deals?

If we could get the $155 instant off, i think it might be better.

Per Fatwallet,

It is a better deal if you order through [l]www.1800mobiles.com[/l]

You get the phone for free and don't pay tax (outside of New York)...not a bad deal...
