Amazing talent? Not really. Any good salesman can review a product sheet and be able to pitch it right away.

It's not as if he had never seen a printer before so it was simply an issue of highliting several features: model #, price, print speed, ethernet capable, etc. Nothing revolutionary that most technically savvy folks would stumble on.
