I don't get the obsession with Doc Martens. Do they miraculously just start feeling comfortable after a couple years of use? Whenever I've tried them on in stores they've felt like a stiff piece of junky leather sewn on to a 2x4.

I've never been a believer in the "buy it even if it's uncomfortable, it'll break in later" philosophy.

If you are going to buy boots, buy a real pair and get a set of Redwings.

depends on your feet and the size of the shoe, I guess. my doc martens are uber comfortable. even more comfortable than my sneakers.
