5ms IPS
1080p
23"

Only negative review I see is that it has a wobbly stand. I don't know what people consider wobbly. Maybe I can consider my Samsung monitor stand wobbly. If I type fast the monitor shakes a bit.

Apparently the old version of this monitor was 14 ms response time. Now the new one is 5ms.

Is 5ms too slow for games? I currently use 2ms.

Seems like a good deal for an IPS.

5ms is perfectly fine for games.

The monitor you linked to says 14ms though? I think you linked the wrong one.

But yeah, $150 for a 23" 1080p 5ms IPS monitor sounds like a fantastic deal. Then again, there are people on this forum far more knowledgeable than me who might say otherwise, so you should probably listen to them and not me.

Very good deal. Might want to think though if an extra $50 (like a dell 23'' IPS) is worth it, as it comes with a much better stand and potentially better service behind it. $150 is a great deal though.

I was just curious. I want 2 monitors for dual setup. I want a bigger monitor like a 27" but can't afford 1440p.

This one caught my eye because it was cheap and IPS.

6bit has a smaller color space. Meaning it can only display so many colors as compared to 8bit panels. I think for you though it will be a nice upgrade over TN panels.

I am trying to pull up something I saw on tft central about it but the site doesn't seem top be working right now for me.

Keep in mind that you can't trust the response time numbers advertised, they're all totally bogus.

They use something akin to dithering to get to 16.7M colors, and in practice you will have a hard time telling a higher-quality 6-bit from an 8-bit panel. If you look closely in some cases you can see the difference, but it's not easy to tell in normal usage. For instance, I recall one Dell panel where people assumed it was 8-bit because it looked so good, but it turned out to be 6-bit e-IPS.
