15 foot icicles outside my home window - how about you

Just looked outside this morning to see how the weather is doing. I couldn't see much of anything due to the icicles blocking my view. Most were ~5-6 feet long. However one icicle went from the roof, all the way past my floor, and about 2/3rds of the length of the floor below me. So I guess it was about 15 feet long. It even had side icicles branching off of it. Biggest icicle I've ever seen in person.

How is the ice around you?

Certainly no ice here in Alabama either! We had LOTS of wind, rain and lightening last night though...scary.

No icicles, just a 2 feet deep mound of snow.

Ice cubes tend to melt fast around here. 75 degrees here yesterday in San Diego.

What's your budget?
I'd have a tough time fitting any camera in my budget. I even looked at that disposible digital camera mod and deceided it was too expensive - need to buy a USB cable and all. Just paid a $598.50 university bill for this semester. That'll wiped me out for a month.

Go buy a cheap disposable camera.

Use the whole roll of film taking pictures of the icecicles. This will ensure you get at least a few good ones.

Now just save the camera until you can have it developed. Spring the few extra $ for digital copies.
