Did you recently make a large purchase from Circuit City? How recent and how much did you spend? Are other people getting these as well?

Also, if you get a circular from CC, look on the back. You can bring it in and get at least a $10 GC. There are also $100 and $1000 GCs being given away, but you are guaranteed at least a $10 one. The circular says "get in gear" on the front...don't throw it away! :)

Wow, I've never gotten anything from Circuit City in the mail besides rebates...I'll keep an eye out for it though.

Just so you know, for the CC customer appreciation brochure promo you need a CC brochure that has the promo listed on the lower front right corner and a code on the back in order to get a GC. Bringing in the CC brochure without a code on the back for them to enter gets you nothing but a wasted trip to CC. I was lucky enough to get one of the CC brochures with the code and got my $10 GC yesterday. I received another at work that did not have a code and was told "No cod, No GC!". Good Luck :)

This came in an 5x7 envelope. Plain front and big CC logo on back. Almost threw it away with the rest of the junk mail. There is a short form letter about how the understand and appreciate, and care ... blah blah blah. Since the original post I have spent it, so I can't scan an image. The good news is that it is just a simple $15 GC with no strings.

This might be more of a 'win-back' promotion. I am not a big CC customer at all. According to Quicken, I have made 3 purchases in the last year totalling $246.01 I recall buying the Apex DVD and 3 packs of TDK cdrs (made $30 on a Target PM). The customer service rep said he'd seen one other today, so hopefully your's are in the mail.

FYI - I live near Orlando, FL

I got my gift card yesterday. Anybody call to activate theirs? Seems like it's not automated and you have to hold for a CSR. Or maybe I'm just an idiot.
