Just a week or so ago I was getting 17,000 with stock 9800np speeds, now a pretty well overclockerd 9800 is only getting the above score, 15,679... my specs are: P4C800 Deluxe, 2.6C, 9800np, 1 gig of 3200 ram at 2.5, 3, 3, something else, 8 I think. I know, I know, my rams crap. Seems real low to me, what do you think? Whats the deal?

Nope, checked to make sure everything is at its absolute minimum, AA, AF, textures, mipmap detail, etc. in the disply properties menu.

keep in mind, it is just a benchmark. re-format if you are so concerned about it.

I agree it's only a benchmark. People goes nuts over benchmarks scores if it drops a little. Every since I build this main system. I never once done a benchmark test on the system. All I know is it does everything I need it too without any signs of slow down or problems. Thats all that matters to me really.

That's my 9800np score with a 175 x 12.5 Barton. I need a bios upgrade so my memory (3200 XMS) timings can max out, can only push the KT333 mobo so far.

Ok, I'm reformatting soon anyway. BTW< why is it everything says I only have 1022 mb of ram when I have two 512 mb sticks? 😕

Your mobo may automatically allocate memory for a given task or for reserved services.
