saw a deal on a 15.6" Win10 laptop with ssd hard drive.
it's 1920x1080 resolution.

my current laptop is 11.6" Win7 with 1366 x 768 resolution.

How much smaller will the txt on a web browser look on the 15.6" laptop?

Well I have a 15" MBP with higher resolution than that and I can read the text just fine, I don't think it's any smaller visually than any other laptop I've used, I assume it scales to the screen size, although I know in Windows, you can make text as large as you can handle in your settings. So with that, it shouldn't be an issue.

You can always adjust text size.

1920x1080 on a 15.6" screen feels perfectly natural. Even on a 14" laptop I had no trouble with it.

Take a look at this site, https://www.sven.de/dpi/

You enter the resolution and screen size and it tells you PPI and dot pitch. For your 11.6" screen, PPI is ~135ppi and for the 15.6" 1080p screen it would be ~141PPI. Text would be a little smaller but not too much smaller. Can always adjust the settings in windows.

Windows has many settings to allow better text sizes... in fact I generally run %150 on the PC on my TV so I can view it from several yards away. That said, my current laptop is 1080p 15.6 inch and text size has never been an issue. Windows has some good built in settings to keep the text size a good "actual" size based on the monitor and not a specific pixel width.

Huge compared to my 12.5 inch ThinkPad with the same resolution.

But I love tiny text.
