0 errors when i put the dimm voltage at 2.8

can someone tell me what this means?
its a crucial ballisitx 512mb stick, btw ddr400

What was the voltage before? Memory becomes more stable as you give it more juice. Up to a point of course - where it catches fire... ;)

Ballistix usually need alot of volts i dont even think they are designed to run right on 2.6v. Thats why your getting errors, theres nothing wrong with the ram its just your voltage settings.

Yeah most high speed DDR RAM was spec'd to run at 2.8 or 2.9V

2.6V sounds like something an old stick of PC2700 would run at.

Actually, Crucial Ballistix is spec'd to run with exactly 2.80v, @200 Mhz. It's known to fail (be ruined, not fail Memtest) with 2.9v, but can usually attain 250 Mhz with 2.8v. Just start raising the timings, as you run it faster. 2.5-2-2-5 @ 225-230 Mhz, 2.5-3-3-6 @<240, etc.
