Ebay is a pretty good option as you can pick your own hours and they don't have to be convenient for anyone else. Ship things out on your lunch break...

Bartend? Waitress?

I have no bartending experience, and unfortunately Los Angeles's waiting positions are teeming full of struggling actors/actresses... 🙁 I don't think I'd be any competition for them, since I don't have any restaurant experience.

Thanks b0mbrman, I've been selling some of my fiance's old computer games and the money isn't too bad! I have a 51 rating (100% positive feedback) right now, so maybe I'll start taking that more seriously. Any ideas on good things to sell? I guess I can start scouring thrift stores for nice used clothing, books, etc.

Are you sure stripping isn't an option? I pay well.

For a second I read what you wrote as "It pays well", but then I reread it. And no, it isn't... maybe it works for some girls, but it's not my bag. 😛

play poker online

Every time I've gone to Vegas, I've lost. 🙁 Gambling isn't an option either, since I'm terrible at it (anyone I'm playing with would win $$$ though! 😛 ).

DVD's are good because people don't really ask a lot of questions since all DVD's are alike but you make such little margin on each one that you really only profit through volume.

That's a good point, and I probably won't have the time to auction more than 20 items or so a week. 🙁 I used to sell on eBay in college, and labeling/packaging/going to the PO/etc. takes up a LOT of time and energy! Handling costs from sellers are totally justified. 😛

I thought u were donating eggs?

My fiance and I discussed it, and I was going to donate to a nice gay couple but we ended up opting not, as it would slightly jeapordize my fertility. Since we definitely want to have babies of our own one day, we felt it wasn't worth the risk.

just out of sheer curiosity, how much could you have gotten for the eggs?

Create a CafePress store.

Do people actually make a profit with those? I have some ideas for shirts, but it seems the market's already overwhelmed. Couldn't hurt, I suppose... is there a startup fee? *wanders off to check out site* Thanks bluewall!
