I've got a friend's Ipod. She wants some of my music. I installed ITunes, plugged in the Ipod, and it won't see it, or let me upload songs.

What other 3rd party apps (free) are available?

Thanx.

I'm on IpodLounge.com, but it really doesn't say much.

Hi! 🙂

For general use, I sort of like Anapod and Ephpod... I know the freeware version of Anapod probably won't do what you want it to do. Edit: I'm pretty sure Ephpod should be able to do it: Select songs on iPod, right click, select Copy songs to directory. (The transfering back to PC is the tricky bit.)

Pod Player and the iPod Music Liberator both should do what you wish to do, although I've never used them meself. There are also a few more downloads available at iPod lounge's download page.

Hope this helps!

Thank you very much.

I *do* think I can get this Ipod to work if I format it, but that will erase the songs she already has on this thing. And I don't know if she'll mind or not, cuz I'm supposed to fill it up for her.

But that's all I need, hopefully one of those will work.

I appreciate the help.

I'm closing this thread.
