What 30 inch monitor do you have?

If it was the previous generation panels then it does not support HDCP which is required for full resolution Blu-ray watching. That is why I bought my 2407 instead of the 3007, because I knew I would want to watch HD content on it.

It looks like I have the newer one that actually supports HDCP. Cool.

Ah didn't know that, and OP didn't say he had AnyDVD so figured I would go on the assumption he didn't have it and he would need to make sure he had HDCP. 🙂
