Personally, I'd prefer a 60hz display with better color gamut over the typical 144hz 45% ntsc. Also, I typically add a storage drive myself so the 512gb wouldn't matter much to me.🌠🐎🥩

Agreed outside of it needing to be portable I never got the idea of gaming laptops
Now with dedicated mobile gaming units like the Steam Deck and ASUS Ally, there's not much need for a dedicated gaming laptop. If you have a laptop for work and you like gaming, then I can see spending the money, but there's alternatives for gamers on the move.

I feel like they can be useful for college students, who need a laptop for school, but also want the gaming capability. Maybe also people with limited home space and needing a personal computer on the go.

But I agree on capabilities front. In grad school, I went desktop for games and got a cheap Thinkpad for grad school needs.
