1440p Qnix suddenly flashes randomly

I think my qnix monitor is going out. it was flickering pretty badly, reinstalled windows and checked cables, all fine. There was a whine for a few days, and still is when it's on but now it flickers so badly i can't really log into windows since i can only see a flash of full desktop every minute or so.

Haven't yet tried another input like HDMI since i haven't dug out cables just yet, but i'm thinking this thing might be shot.

Is there anything i can google for to poke around and try to fix? Or is it a lost cause?

After moving it, I noticed the power adapter's light wasn't lit when plugged in. Replaced it, and monitor is working fine again.

FYI in case anyone else is having that strange issue, this totally fixed it for me.
