1440p and 4K resolution

What starts to become the bottleneck at these resolutions please ? Or maybe I should ask what piece of hardware is stressed the most at these resolutions ?

During gaming of course.

Not sure seem to use its own custom game engine, do you own the game? if so just look at CPU and GPU usage while playing and then you will see very easily what the bottleneck is.

At 4K almost always the GPU. At 2k (1440p) there’s a lot more variables at play. I’m running 1440p and when I had my 980Ti I was GPU limited most of the time. With a 1080Ti I’m CPU limited most of the time.

You're CPU limited OP according to the review of Planet Coaster where the reviewer has a 1080Ti level system. I'd just look at the top youtube reviews I think it's lazygamereviews or something.

1440p is not that demanding. Until 2 weeks ago i was playing CoD:AW and Fortnite Battle Royale on a 1440p ultra wide with only a 4790K CPU and R9 270 GPU. It was very playable. Doom was also playable at 3440x1440 granted i was using Vulkan for that game.
