That is the current resolution I am playing at, and the "only" one that I cannot make out is Crysis.

This is with the current rig in sig. All others are fine.

You can't play any dx11 game maxed out, lol.

I'm sure the list grows daily. With that said everybodys definition of max is different. Start bringing AA into the equation and max becomes a whole lot harder to obtain and define. I certainly can't run crysis at 2560x1600 very high settings and 16xaa, but I can run it at the same settings with no AA. Is that to say I'm not playing the game maxed out? You be the judge.

I'm sure your 4850 will hold it's own in almost any game with no AA @1440x900, with very few settings turned down

If you are referring to me, DX11 is a non-factor for me...since I do not like any of the DX11 games currently out except for BFBC2 and it looks perfectly fine in DX9.

But yes, I can run any game I have with some form of AA....some I use 4AA and some I use 8AA. And all games I play I run 16AF. And I have a catalog of 158 games. Most current is Bioshock 2.

Would you like a comprehensive list to my games and what settings and res they run ? The 9800GTX is on par with a 4850. Of course I have it overclocked to 855 Core / 2200 Shader / 2512 Memory.

1440*900 is not very stressful. In fact, I have read / heard that it is actually less stressful than 1280*1024.

In fact DX10 vs. DX11 BF:BC2 looks almost identical:

DX11 has been overrated like crazy this generation. This is because there is not a single DX11 game out which was made DX11 from the ground up. It's all DX10 games with D11 effects. The biggest difference was DX9 over DX8 imo.

I would say in Metro 2033 and STALKER: CoP, 4850 will struggle.

Its funny that you mention Metro 2033. I just watched a review for it on Gametrailers and it doesn't seem like a game I would like.

However, I do have S.T.A.L.K.E.R SOC and CS. And SOC runs fine...but CS does struggle somewhat.

so for most new games, how much more power would be needed to max out that res? just curious since benchmarks are usually never tested below 1680x1050.
