$14.99 Windows 8 upgrade downgradable?

I bout a new cheap desktop for my parents last month and thinking of upgrading to the Win8 offer because its so cheap. But they barely even know how to use XP, so I'm not sure how the reception will be. ANyone know if the Windows 7 key will still work if I want to reinstall it?

Yes it should still work.

What I would do is make sure that you make a recovery dvd set for that machine if you have not already as you would have to backup any data and format the drive to go back to win7
