I get the occasional BSOD in regards to atikmdag.sys with the latest AMD WHQL 14.4 driver. Didn't have that using early drivers. I don't want to revert back because I want to play with Mantle.
Right now I'm stuck using a single Reference R9 290X but don't think that Crash would happen with 290X under water, single card or in X-Fire.
Not saying I don't Hack atikmdag.sys with CRU to select Monitor Frequencies ;o)
Actually I was Screen Capturing Flash Video that was download protected at DVD Res 720p at 30 FPS using Camtasia SCRN_RECORDER when this happens at perhaps 1 hr into a Video - With or without Flash enabled Hardware Acceleration?
Is there something about this driver I should be aware of - Perhaps compatibility with MSI Afterburner Fan Profiles and over heating Air Cooled Cards or Monitor frequency too High for an Air Cooled Reference R9 290X. I suspect this would not happen if the card was under water.
PS: I don't have the Camtasia Studio loaded I only use their Screen Recorder = Great App in my opinion.
I run a an ASUS Z68V-Pro Gen 3/i7 2700K at 4.8Ghz/ 16GB Samsung 1866Mhz DDR3 at 9-9-9-1T @ 1.35v on a Samsung 840 Pro SSD. She's Lightning FAST especially when I got 2 X's R9 290X's under water = Maintenance issues - That's another story.
