I thought this movie was pretty decent and was surprised to see it mostly bashed at rottentomatoes. I didn't really care for Donofrio, I think Jeff Goldblum would have been better in that role. Anyway it was an interesting matrix-y story. I didn't really understand though why when someone died their consciousness swapped with the body in the other world. Was there an explanation that I missed or is it just a gimmick?

I saw it a while ago, so I don't quite remember. I don't think there was an explanation. That was a pretty good movie for how unpopular/unliked it was.

It was cute. I liked Dark City better but it was still pretty nifty. Cool cinematography.

You should have waited to see the whole movie. It was a cool concept. Sort of a preempt of "The Matrix".

Hehe, my opinion on movies probably doesn't count for much: I like Battlefield Earth and think Fight Club sucks bigtime!
