Just to compare... my used 16lbs Specialized cost me $800 on eBay. lol. I guess my frame being made in Taiwan accounts for the difference. 😉

The problem with a 14lb bike, is that if you weigh more than 150lbs, you're going to break it just from hitting potholes.

I'd be plenty happy with a durable 17-18 lb bike, that I could get for 1/4 the price.
